eperienced growers, please help with ongoing problem

I have been growing for several years, and have encountered this problem in my last 3 grows and am getting very frustrated. These are White Rhino, started from seed, in Organic Roots 707 potting soil. I had the same thing happen using Fox Farm Ocean Forest so I don't think it can be the...

    Outdoor scrog = security???

I'm sure you are right about a bigger footprint, but its a disguised footprint. I figure that they are looking for stands of individual plants, when what I envision is a solid carpet. I have all kinds of other things growing around here as well, so I figure it will kind of blend in to the...

    Outdoor SCROG

I'M CONSIDERING AN OUTDOOR SCROG NEXT YEAR. I figure that a scrog setup would be a lot less identifiable to the chopper coppers that a bunch of christmas trees. If one was to create a few 20 x 3 ft. garden boxes, and scrog over your plants, then from the air it would look like any other garden...

    Outdoor scrog = security???

I am planning my outdoor grow for next season. I plan on having around 24 plants in my garden and am probebly being a little paranoid. Last year we had a couple of flyovers by the chopper patrol, and even though we where 'legal' (according to the LOCAL law enforcement) its the feds I worry...

Enter The Scrog/Scroggers United Post Page

Very good thread people, I'm learning quite a bit from this thread. I've never done a scrog befor, and am trying to soak up what I can from these forums. I've come to the conclusion that the lighting in my flower room is too wimpy for a traditional upright grow, so scrog is the way to go...

    Flowering stage failure!?!

You don't mention how much and what kind of lighting, or what size pots you have them in. What kind of soil and nutes are you using? Temps in the cabinet? Could be several different possibilities. I had some plants just stop doing anything in the flower stage once. Drove me nuts trying to...

    odd flowering growth rate

I didn't mean to denigrate the importance of having the correct spectrum of lighting, of coarse that is important. But if you have insufficiant wattage you might as well be using candles.

    odd flowering growth rate

Its not the spectrum, its the amount of light available to the plant. You don't even have 100 watt total, thats way too little.

I CAN'T BELEIVE MY EYES! MYSTERY"seedling popped up from near the roots of Goo plant

I am currently trying to 'clone' or 'regrow' from roots as well. Just a single plant that I had chopped during the last outdoor grow. I had thrown all the roots, trimmings etc. into the compost pile during my harvest, and about a week ago I saw tiny shoots popping out of the root ball. I...

    Mold prevention question. Copper solution

I don't know about the copper idea, I'll be following it though, as I had mold problems on my last seasons outdoor grow. I do know that some strains are more successable to mold. Last year I used the skim milk + baking soda trick with some success. I lost around a pound or two due to the dreaded...

Please HELP, large spread of brown, orange, yellowish patches overnight!!! (pics)

[You need to read about the structure of soil and how it works. In some cases i will agree that a "flush" can help soil , but in most cases no. the salts get bound up by microbes an ions and are literally attached to the dirt particles thus making it very hard to "flush" out. if their are salts...

    600w Master Kush

I too am growing some Master Kush. They have been 'popped' for about 3 weeks now. Just topped 4 of the 20+ in my grow room. Will undoubtably top the rest when they are ready. As far as when to throw them under 12/12 for flower, thats kind of set up dependant. How much head room do you have...
