Question for you LED experts out there... is there any LED controllers that I can use to control 2 boards that will dim them based solely off of room temperature? Most of the dimmers I have seen can simulate light cycles and even clouds and shit, but I don't see any mention of being able to set...

Of course. Here's my setup for the moment. Will be adding more fans when they come, but I still don't see that bringing down the temp of the fixture unless I put a fan right on it or use a PC fan to cool it. Seems a little hot to me.

What the max temp for these things? My 2 QB288 running at 2100 mah with the slate 1 are currently running around 140F at the board and heat sink. The tent is nice and cool like 75F. Is that okay or should I get some air on these things??

Which board? For the QB288, 2 boards on an hlg-240-2100c should fit your needs really well. Runs them at about 110 watts or so each at a decently efficient drive current. It's what I'm planning to run here soon. Just need to wire everything up.

Just received my 2 QB288's and slate 1's in the mail. Fucking beautiful looking boards. I got excited just holding them. lol

I wonder if that's pushing them too hard? I was able to snag two and some heatsinks and I'm trying to figure out my driver choice too. Was gonna go witn 240 but would love to do Have 320 for 2 In series if robin doesn't advise against it.

Wow awesome man. This is similar to what I hope to experience. I want to be able to get 6" (closer would be even better) without issue. You may have already mentioned it but how many boards for what size tent?

In your 2x2x2, how close have you been able to get the plants to the panels at that wattage? Not much room at that height

Unfortunately id have to have them up to 6" close at some point to make this grow work and I'd really love too. Maybe running more boards at lower watts would help but i rather not have to buy more than two boards and run around 200-250w if possible.

Do you think 3 boards at 240w I can run them 6" or closer in flower?
