I had the same issue my last grow. I moved the lights up about another foot and never had the issue again after that. Some of the leaves stayed curled but it didn't effect anything.

No need to wash buds. If you spray stuff on your buds that you need to wash off then you shouldn't have sprayed them in the first place. I run 2 1000W lights and I like to keep them a foot above the plants. I noticed when they were any closer the plants started showing signs of getting too hot. I recommend a foot, especially in flower. At least that's what works best for me.
