    The French Cannoli` Hash Thread

Looks yummy, I've always pressed to, I do find that just the act of pressing my hash (bubble) creates heat thru the friction of the pressing action. I will leave it under presure for a half a day to insure a good seal and bind. I usually only press my second screens tho because as you said be...

FLUSHING before harvest... BS or not?

Your not flushing it out, your flushing the soil or medium leaving the plant only clean water to uptake for the last two weeks giving it no choice but to use up whatever remaining salts are built up in the plant but hey I'm just a stupid one here, all good, this is an old argument and everyone...

Go with what works, as I said to each there own. And yes the chem you use is through out your entire plant, it doesn't all get turned into energy. it takes time for a plant to uptake and use enrergy and know if you'd have read back in the post I actually use a low ppm, less is more as they say...

That's funny I'm pretty sure I specified that some weed no matter how you dry it burns black. It just simply is full of fertilizer and tastes like shit. No cure can fix that.

I agree, you def save on nutes the last cple weeks. Pleanty of salts built up in the plant and medium. I've also noticed with flood and drain, once you switch to water that even tho the resivoir is clean and clear water at first after each feeding it comes back the color of mixed nutes, maybe a...

Agreed wet weed does burn black but really dirty weed with lots of nutes and boosters left in it will burn black or dark dark grey no matter how much you dry it out. At least this has been my experience which is the reason I always choose to flush. Particularly with flood and drain.

We talking weed or tobacco ? Cause if you've ever tried to smoke a joint with a hard black ash you'll quickly realize that color in this case does make a difference.

I def read the leaves, check the trichs. I set my water out and put an air stone in, partly to oxegenate partly to help it evaporate any thing it can evaporate out. Haven't noticed o2 deprivation as of yet but water is always the last week's so not much can go wrong by that point. Water is H2o...

FLUSHING before harvest... BS or not?

Just wanted to chime in on this thread. I've got a couple decades of growing under my belt and I still know very little. IMO flushing is something I'd never go with out. Now before anyone jumps on me let me bring a little clarity. I only use GH flora series in my garden and nothing else. I...

Thank you very much, it's been years since I applied my green thumb. I'm fairly pleased with the results this far. They get taken down this week so it will be ten to twelve days before I can comment on the flavor and quality. Three full weeks of water, I can't wait to taste it.
