To get 2 oz per plant you need to have large enough pots and enough veg time...you'll get it...you should also look at trying to use clones more than seeds...it seriously takes down on the waiting time... I take a clone a week before flowering a plant...and before the "mother" plant has...

I use 2 tents and one 400w MH and one 400 CMH and I get around 3 oz per plant and I can fit 3-4 plants in the flower tent. It is awesome that you can pretty much cram a veg tent full with little issue...because you fill the veg tent and then move the plants into flower as you need to... Best...

I have used Clonex, Rootone powder, and some other gel I got from x nutrients in a sample package. I haven't really noticed a difference between them really. I feel like cloning gel is yet another of those things that we all use, but could go without.
