if you run cycles its just not practical. you would actually grow one less over the year because of the extra time you spend per grow you would be doing less grows per year. if its for hobby (passion) go for it.

can we see a pic of where it is dirty ? if its in the middle of the piece lay it on its side to soak what ever solvent you use. what i would do is fill it all the way with alcohol (i use Ever Clear $$ ) and leave it for like a day or two.

i actually agree with you not to pull it. you are right to pull off the pollen sacks. make sure this plant is loli popped (shaved legs) usually male pollen sacks will appear on lower growth that doesn't receive that much light.
