    Doing the shuffle

I appreciate that. I’m glad to hear that there won’t be any problems switching my auto flower plants from straight 24 to 12/12 schedule midstream won’t cause any problems. Fortunately, I can take the light that they have been under along with them and merely set it to the 12/12 schedule.

    Doing the shuffle

I have five photoperiod plants that are one week into flower… On a 12/12 schedule. I have two auto flowers that are now flowering but have been under continuous 24 hour light since they sprouted. For logistical reasons, I would like to move my auto flowers in with my photoperiods. Is this OK...

    Uncontrolled temp in tent

The basement humidity runs about 60% and seems to be well controlled by a second dehumidifier. Fresh air may be a problem... possibly. The central air system is down there and there is a small amount of air leakage from the ductwork but I would not say it is enough to keep things fresh. I...

    Uncontrolled temp in tent

So, back to this thread.... The last few days, I am really starting to have problems with excessive humidity. I thought my 30pt dehumidifier was going to be up to the task for this tent but I am running into 95% humidity within an hour after watering including beads of water on the tent walls...

    Uncontrolled temp in tent

Mr Kingrow1... Really good response and I think it addresses my question very well. Thank you. I do have a question about not directing fans on to the plants. Everything I read speaks to how an oscillating breeze helps to strengthen the roots and woody aspects of the plant and how it is just...

    Uncontrolled temp in tent

https://bigbudsmag.com/calculating-cfm-exhaust-fan-marijuana-grow-room/ Well, here is the website where I found the formula I used to figure the fan size I needed. Their recommendation was to exhaust your tent every 3-5 minutes... not three times per minute. Soooo... that is why I have the...

    Uncontrolled temp in tent

Actually, Mr Kingrow1, you are completely correct! I thought that the thermometer needed to be at the level of your canopy. Where else is a good place for your thermometer/RH meter to but WITH your canopy!?! Man, I feel like an idiot for wasting Mr Webster's time. So, the question is...

    Uncontrolled temp in tent

Yes sir... First off, there is a 60 gallon NatGas hot water heater in the basement. Also, during the winter, the NatGas furnace is down there. Beyond that, if it becomes super cold, I have installed a 12k BTU NatGas wall heater. All should help with the CO2 situation. AND THEN, I actually...

    Uncontrolled temp in tent

I am using a 48x96x70 tent with two HLG 260's. I have one 8" oscillating fan, one 6" fan and one 30pt dehumidifier within the tent plumed to drain to sewer. The tent is located in a basement that is 16x20x6 with temps that typically range 72-74* and humidity controlled with a second 30pt...

    Fresh air

I have a 4x8 tent in a 20x20 basement. I have the basement pretty sealed up so I’m not sure that there is a lot of “fresh air” that circulates down there. The furnace and AC ductwork is down there and I think there is a little air leakage that way but there are no windows and only one access...

My plants are not happy :( Please see Imgur link

I would actually love that! :) I did do a pH'd flush earlier today to hopefully dilute things a bit. The thing that really seemed to all of a sudden draw me toward broad mites are the twisted growth on top.

I appreciate that. Thank you for those pointers! After doing some reading, I am strongly thinking that my plants may be infected with Broad Mites. They are wilty, twisted growth, droopy with leaves turned up at the edges. Thoughts?

https://imgur.com/gallery/tJLdNMz I am pH’ing to roughly 5.8, my recipe that I’m using is: In ***TWO gallons*** water: 16mL Sensi grow A 8mL cal-mag 16mL Sensi Grow B 8mL Micro 2mL superthrive 2mL Roots 2mL Amino 20mL Fish emulsion It is being diluted to about 800ppm. I am feeding 1-2...

    managing runoff

The pot elevators are super expensive! I do like the idea of the washing machine drain trays. What do you think about 1-2" cedar disks for use as elevators? I know cedar is pretty much resistant to everything and is good at chasing bugs away. Thoughts? I do see that I can purchase them...

    managing runoff

To preface, I am a newbie growing in coco. I have a 4x8 grow tent and currently have two week old seedlings in Solo cups that will transplant to 1 gallon and then 7 gallon containers. My question is... if you have your plants in water collection containers (saucers, etc), how do you manage the...
