what deficiency is causing this leaf curl?

It's overcast today and relatively cool, she's still got the curl.

what deficiency is causing this leaf curl?

Maybe, but if that was the case wouldn't those leaves be dark green with the tips curled down?

what deficiency is causing this leaf curl?

Thanks everyone. I wondered about heat stress too except none of the others (same strain) are showing leaf canoeing and they're all in the same location. Also agree the color looks a tad light, although not so much in photo #2. Before transplanting I amended the soil based on a lab test...

what deficiency is causing this leaf curl?

Fist time seeing this...I'm guessing it's a nutrient deficiency of some sort but not sure. 2 out of 15 plants showing this--all Cherry Wines, in same soil and with same amendments/watering. The others are thriving. Anybody know what particular nutrient she's asking for? Don't want to throw the...

    Droopy leaves--overwatered?

Update: a week and a half later and they still get a little droopy when the sun is out. I haven't watered them at all during that time. Soil feels fairly dry on top but still slightly moist below. Not seeing a lot of growth either. Thinking I should stay the course and continue to let them dry...

    Maine 2021

Week 12 update: all 3 MJ plants doing very well as we head into the stretch phase and most of the Cherry Wines thriving too. Finally had some decent rain last week, 4" in one day, plus more showers yesterday. Not enough to break the drought completely but the brook at least is now running and...

    2021 Massachusetts Outdoor Growers

Dr. Zymes, huh? Never heard of it but just looked at their website and sounds intriguing. You actually spray it on the flower? Do you stop spraying buds a couple weeks before harvest? I actually haven't sprayed anything until just last night when I saw those whiteflies. Probably was tempting...

I would top her now also. What's your latitude? Agree she's got a late start so won't be a big yielder but could still have time to grow quite a bit before flowering. In any case will be a good learning experience.

    2021 Massachusetts Outdoor Growers

Looking mighty fine. Is that Dutch White Clover growing beneath one of the plants? I'm ready to start messing around with cover crops and companion plants. UPS just delivered some alfalfa and rye seed, was going to use that in some of my planting holes that are fallow this summer (removed...

    Open show an tell2021.

Absolutely thriving, those plants. Great job on getting them nice and bushy. Another couple weeks and it'll be stretch time...hold onto your hats.

    Overwatering

That roof looks like it would potentially shed a lot of water onto the ground there. Hang a gutter? I agree with previous comment not an ideal location.

    Droopy leaves--overwatered?

After some more research I think I understand the wilting a little more. Basically when the sun comes out the plant is trying to transpire, drawing water up through its roots and then evaporating on the underside of the leaves. But not enough water is being absorbed by the roots, either because...

    Droopy leaves--overwatered?

So can someone explain why they seem to only droop when the sun is out? Leaves trying to transpire but roots not keeping up?

    Droopy leaves--overwatered?

Just checked on them at lunchtime--light overcast with some filtered sunlight--looking droopy again after they seemed perfectly fine early this morning. So it seems to correspond to the light. Hmmm. Does the light overwhelm them? Struggling to photosynthesize? Wish I knew what exactly was going...

    Overwatering Seedling questions/tips/what to expect?

Just leave them alone for a bit and chances are they'll recover--soil just needs to dry out. You have good drainage in the nursery pot? What sort of soil are they in? I've never had any turn yellow myself but have certainly overwatered seedlings on occasion. They've always bounced right back...

    Droopy leaves--overwatered?

I've got a bunch of plants growing and most all are looking fine but there's 4 that seem stunted and exhibit droopy leaves on occasion. Seems like classic overwatering symptoms but I'm not 100% sure so thought I'd post a pic. and ask. I planted about 30 Cherry Wine plants from seed back in...
