Usually by around week 3, a bunch of budlets have formed. At this point I remove all of the major fan leaves one last time. You're forcing the plant to focus on the buds during this crucial phase of their development!

It's just there to absorb the smell. With passive air in through the tent flaps a duct fan sucking the hot air out is still required and for the best results an oscillating fan inside for air movement but if smell really isn't an issue you can loose the carbon filter. I would highly recommend it...

I ordered a second trellis net with 3 1/2" squares and two tension rods eta Wednesday. I'm going to raise the top net a few inches and put the new net a few inches above the canopy. When a good percentage of the lower net is filled I'll flip the lights. I'm anticipating the flip a next weekend...
