Remove the tie downs from the branch that split until your tape job heals. Support in the opposite direction will help.

Usually a strong period of growth when the branches are tied down.

I have the same on 2 of my outdoor plants, I dont see any bugs when I look under the leaves. Could be earwigs at night we have alot of those. I might try silica.

Question, if the OP increased the lights on time, would the plants reveg?
