Recycled Organic Living Soil (ROLS) and No Till Thread

Hey guys, how's it going? I'd like to suggest ditching the blood meal and adding some alfalfa meal or fish meal with high N And I wouldn't add that much brown rice unless you plan to cook this soil for at least a month. It just doesn't seem necessary imo, but I'm open to hearing what anyone...

    Super Soil 2019-2020

Have you noticed it burn plants as a top dress? From what I could tell, the mix isn't supposed to be near roots of live plants. :leaf:

    Super Soil 2019-2020

I see, you use it in compost! Nice The method I was researching involved an airtight, sealed container with some bokashi and table scraps, which was left without oxygen to encourage anaerobic bacteria. I like the way you're describing it better, I think. I would consider using some in my...

    Super Soil 2019-2020

Thanks for chiming in! Bokashi seems pretty cool from the small amount of info I've seen. Do you have to buy starter or is there a diy recipe? Also, I would be interested to know how/if fermentation is more beneficial to a gardener than traditional aerobic composting. I assume it isn't...

    Super Soil 2019-2020

Hey there everyone, I'm 207 and I'll be sharing my personal grow with you. I'm a medical cannabis user and long time farmer; I love growing anything and cannabis is no exception. Right now I am refining my methods and still trying to learn as much as I can, like many of you are. I have had...

    Please help

Sorry for the confusion. I mean flush the plant with water to remove excess N, and while you're at it just throw in some kelp fertilizer. By gently, I mean lightly fertilized. The kind of seaweed fert I'm talking about has a very low NPK but lots of trace elements and good hormones.

    Please help

I'd stop giving N asap. It doesn't seem to be a deficiency of N, Imo. The foliage seems to indicate a deep saturation of N, and you mentioned how you added some N recently. I would recommend some seaweed fertilizer like Neptune's harvest mixed with dechlorinated water for a light flushing. It...

What y’all think about my little girls any suggestions ?

I like that line of nutrients. It will work well in hydro. I think a lot of growers add a supplement like Cal mag in small amounts to round it out, especially if they plan on using distilled or RO water. I don't find a bloom booster necessary but some still add it in flowering. What kind of...

What y’all think about my little girls any suggestions ?

I think you're doing well. Getting on the right track and all, I was just chiming in about my experience with led. I used to think t5 was outdated but the results speak for themselves. I'm sure your light is good enough to use and will probably get you a small amount of nice dense buds. I have...

    What’s wrong?

Imo it looks like you may keep the light too close, also seems to be a bit of nutrient burn on the tips of the leaves. Not enough to worry about, but worth mentioning. What is the plant getting for nutrients and what kind of soil mix are you using? Providing that information in the future is...

What y’all think about my little girls any suggestions ?

I love my 2' 8bulb t5ho for veg. My node structure is super tight and I get better results with it than I did with my led veg lights. After maturing under the t5, I'm going to send my ladies into the flower room with a 600w hps to ensure I get enough light for some heavy top colas. I tried...

Using AN GMB trio, considering Pro mix vs ammended soil (happy frog)

Let's hear some opinions. I'm not a new grower and have used both before, but I can never decide what to do. So many fun choices!! Grow space available is 5x4 with 1000w hps, 600w hps and 200w led array. Also have another 4x4x4 insulated cube for veg, containing a 600w mh. Looking for a...

Living Soil in container question... please help!

The lack of light would not be a problem. The temperature is more important and moisture level. Happy gardening
