IMO tuck as many as you can for as long as you can until it’s necessary to “SELECTIVELY DEFOLIATE” for light penetration or to stop bud sites from being shaded out .Or of leaves are laying on each other and you can’t move away from one another [no space].

What’s your EC? Growing medium? How much run off if any? Temp of room humidity. Root zone temp. Water temp ? How many fans do you have in your room currently. Exhausted or closed system. How far away are your lights currently ? How’s the light penetration underneath the canopy?
