It seems the water out of my PUR water filter I just bought produces a higher PH Level but equal EC. Should I even bother to use for watering in soil ?
So more transpiration would mean to lower the amount of EC or raise. I use a 2.6 EC When I feed nutes. Late veg SCROG. Would I just water with same EC just more often? It’s sounding like something that might just have to be trial and error
What I’m asking is can I run higher than my 75-80 degree temperatures so that I can water more often and thus have more growth? What is the max temp I can keep the canopy at to accomplish this ?
Thanks everyone I got it sorted out. Checked ohms across ballast low side. Ballast was over due. The second bulb didn’t actually blow the ballast cut out so hortiluxe mh bulb is still running strong and worth every $$$
600w hydro farm ballast with a switch on it. Wired to 110. I was running 600w MH digilux bulb. Checked on my grow tent bulb was off and has black burnt looking on the inside of the bulb. Replaced it with 1000w blue MH hortiluxe and it burnt it too. Could it be cause I gave a cold bulb a hot...
Also when I transplant should I cover some of the main stem near the Rockwool with more soil Basically making the plant look shorter . I was thinking maybe to the first node
These came out of smaller pots with Just a few holes in the bottom. It looks like the roots went straight for the holes, a.k.a. the oxygen so I believe I drill holes all around the bucket It’ll help with the Air ventilation to the roots
I’m about to transplant into 5 gallon buckets. I’m going to drill some holes in the bottom for runoff but should I drill smaller holes all over the sides too so the roots can breath like fabric pots do?
And my babies are a beautiful green no yellow or burn signs. But the magnifying glass thing makes a lotta sense. When would be a most preferable time to water
Ok I’ve always had a rule of thumb to water at the beginning Of their light period. And I always mist a little bit when I water to. Is it better the other way?
