I’ll go about a week between waterings with my plants but I barely mist the foliage and the whole plant looks like it’s drowning. I was just trying to put some humidity in the air and help them cool down a little bit with a little mist. But no matter how far apart I water or barely even mist they go straight down.I have moisture meters. I pick up the pot and weigh it. I stick my fingers down in there. Bone dry I began to water and they look like they’re drowning as soon as they touch a little moisture. They come back aggressively after about a day ir even a few hours but is this normal?
Plants look overwatered.

Don't do that. If you're going to mist them, do it right after lights out. The water mist on the leaf surface acts as little magnifying glasses and can burn your plants during lights on.
I don’t water in the dark or mist I don’t let them see any light no matter how small during they dark period. What difference would it make?
Ok I’ve always had a rule of thumb to water at the beginning Of their light period. And I always mist a little bit when I water to. Is it better the other way?

You can feed your medium anytime, but at the beginning of the light cycle is best. Just don't mist during lights on.
And my babies are a beautiful green no yellow or burn signs. But the magnifying glass thing makes a lotta sense. When would be a most preferable time to water

Sounds like they are throwing water on an overly happy dog.
Shock of cold mist will definitely take some starch out of things.
