i wasn't going to use any substrate because i have readed it's possible to grow without it as well. So do you recommend any substrate?

At the moment i have an EzPlug where the tiny plant is inside, a root is coming out below. Do i really need rockwool/coco/hydroton for the future ? I have seen setups where the roots are fully naked to absorb the water

Hi all, can you please suggest me me how long seconds and how many times per day should water a seed that has just germinated ? The pump is a normal pump and at the moment the seed is inside an Eazy Plug. As far as I know I don't need a substrate...right ? Thank you.
