The seed shell is still attached........mist it with water to soften the membrane inside the shell and gently pry it off with a toothpick or tweezers.

You’re a little too anxious. You should have left it alone for a day. But don’t toss this one just yet. Very low light and keep it warm. Don’t put anything over it.

Believe it or not the seedling itself wants to live more than you want it to live, so don't literally love it to death.
What I do with helmet heads is give it a day or two and if it doesn't resolve itself by then, I'll place one drop of water on the seed casing it and it will usually soften up and rid itself of the casing in a day or two.
