i couldn't help myself and i sampled a lower branch about a week ago. even premature and quick dried it was a really nice heavy hitting smoke (in a good way)

the lowryders are looking nicer than i expected, they smell great and the leaves are quite sticky to the touch

My alaskan was stunted early on after one of its baby leaves was damaged. It ended up bouncing back but was shorter/smaller than the others when lights were switched to 12/12. It was also slow to start flowering and now looks very premature compared to the others but has really filled out size...

I actually did read some posts from fdd about going by the look, that is good advice though thanks :). I am a bit conflicted now though cause it seemed like he really recommends waiting longer but I'm thinking the brainstorm is looking pretty nice even though it's just past 8 weeks.

Thanks, I actually have a microscope, the trichs are still clear or cloudy, but I have noticed that the weed I buy rarely has amber trichs, even when it is really good smoke. My light set up has been a mix of 400w hps and 1000w hps when its not too hot outside, the girls are stuck in a closet...

I know there are guides about trichomes and hairs and colors and what not, and I have read them, but I've never grown before so I was hoping someone experienced could take a look at this plant specifically and give an opinion based on the look of it :)
