joints, need some info

Hey guys, I havent smoked in like 1-2 months now and i have a harvest coming up in about a month. Anyways i have never been a joint smoker because i always had alot of weed and i prefered blunts cause they are easier to roll IMO, but now that im actually trying school and dont wanna fail i wanna get into joints. I never liked them cause they were more difficult to roll and they dont hold a cherry as long. So i was wondering if anyone had a good guide to roll joints with a filter. Also i was wondering what brand of joints i should buy to hold cherrys long and have a nice fruity taste. I hate the see through ones BTW. SO what brand of rolling papers do you guys use?

i figure if i smoke joints now after my break from weed, ill still get high enough and save weed, and not get too high and lazy to stop going to school lol.

it's hard to teach someone without doing it side by side with them. for most people its just practise makes perfect but im sure if you are able to roll blunts you will do fine with joints too. and you don't roll it with the filter, you just roll like normal and poke the end in and roll up a little strip of a business card and stick it in and you're good to go!

OK cool, yea i didnt really want a tutorial cause ur right you have to be with me to teach me i just wanted to know what the filters are made of and stuff. you answered it, ok so business cards. Yea i have rolled a joint or 2 when i started, trying all the different ways to smoke and find my fav. So what brand of rolling papers are good? I have a huge head shop close by and it has like every rolling paper ever i bet.

if you like blunts you can get papers with tobacco in them that are more like regular size papers but just a bit bigger. brown sugars and golden wraps are both pretty good

I would prefer to use paper with less tobacco because i want to keep my health as much as i can lol. I heard alot of people use papers called RAW or something.

man look on youtube plenty of guides but also stick with dutch blunts

Well i think im gonna buy a 79mm ZEN roller and some juicy jays grape and blueberry. I think that will start me off.

well this is what i picked up today at the head shop with 20 bucks

a small zen joint rolling machine
3 RAW 79mm packs
1 RAW organic pack
1 Juicy Jay Blackberry Brandy
1 Juicy Jay Orange
1 Element rice pack
1 zig zag ultra thin
1 Pure Hemp pack

the reason i got orange and blackberry brandy is cause they didnt have grape or blueberry . figured those would be good.

i dident care for the raw brand papers

what didnt you like about them? the taste? the rolling? i thought they would be good so i got a bunch but i have other brands if they suck.

I'm used to zig zag or jokers plane white wrappers they seem heavier

yes u do do

i grew up using zigzags.. they always did the trick for us.. back then flavored papers were not common

Yea i got some zig zags and some elements they seem like they will be good too. Yea i broke a pencil and put it in the roller and it worked. now i cant wait for harvest to test all these hehe.

here you go. With these you can put the filter in first which is really nice and makes an ubber clean looking joint. I personally dont like to use these anymore I hated having someone come over to burn one and I gotta rip out the roller to get a decent joint so I just practiced a bit and now i can break up and twist/filter a nice joint in less than a minute.

well i live a very solitary life because i have plants all around my house and dont wanna risk anything. Plus i just moved so i dont know anyone anyways. So breaking out the roller wont bother me, makes things easier for me.

those rollers are nice and easy but watch out. They roll the joints too tight very easily so keep it loose while youre rolling or the joint will be tight and won't smoke.

I started using the dollar bill method after the rollers. Take a dollar bill and make a fold in it towards the bottom. Not an actual fold just curl it up to make a little pouch. Put the weed in the pouch and then roll it up in the bill, after its rolled into joint shape stick a paper in and roll it into the paper. Its basically just like the rolling machine but more handy and looser. Hard to explain tho
