all plants will very... so there is no exact formula you could use for a specific plant because each and every seed is different. so if you lose the strain and try to get a cut from someone else it wouldn't be from the same seed so it will vary on results..

it was just an example of a plant that farmers do it with... if you can do it with one plant you should be able to do it to another. thats why im just experimenting and trying it...

yeah that is what i did, i gave them fresh water with no nuts just ph'd water. i haven't really ever got really big fat nugs off the OG so i dont expect them to get that much bigger but im hoping for the best and yes i know time is the key im just really impatient lol

i have now noticed that the OG isn't taking any water in from the roots anymore usually the water level will drop drastically within a few days but it hasn't dropped much at all idk if that can be a clue to whats wrong but please help if you can. +rep for anyone that can help
