Any other input? Can a plant that has been pollinated then pollinate other plants?

Can a plant that has had a couple branches pollinated to produce seeds pollinate other plants in a garden?

I can't put them in a separate room, would moving them away from the other plants in the same room make a difference?

I did come across a few nanners from plants I harvest about a week ago, could they have pollinated my plants? And would it make sense that only three branches were pollinated?
