those things look sweeeeeeet im still having really hard time maintaining my ph level cant seem to keep it at 5.8 always rising up to seven plus if i dont check it all the time it seems to stay longer at 5.8 or so if i steady my ppm " right

I had same problem I beleive it has something to do with PH or MAG

When You first fill your res to the nute specs on the bottles and say im in week three or so and my ppms are supposed to be reading say 500 ppm's and then I check the res say a day or two later and my ppm's drop down to say 450 or 475 or just go lower than what there supposed to be reding am I...

Can anyone tell me what conversion I should have my meter set at for ppm's 0.50 or 0.70 any help would be much helpfull thank u

thanks man ya thats what I was trying to do boost mag but as soon as I put It in I checked ppms ,seen that and then changed water right away as far as foliar feeding with epson salt I will try that thank for advise .

when i added some epsom salts my ppms went through the roof like tripple what it should have been at . how can you control that or does it make a diffrence .what it is

also have some in dirt that I only had to add water (used seedling stater soil thats how I started them all but it seems like they go into a little shock when i transplant them (maybe do to ph diffrence not sure should i just start them in the hydroton thats my medium

ya I have two holes in top of res cover and water coming out of fence post droping into res was also wondering if a pieace of alluminum would have any affect on my water have it there to help guide water into res

also I have my water runnig (my pump) turns on fifteen on and thirty off is that ok or should i keep the water off longer this is my first time doing this and I chose to go the hardest route having some problems but will not give up until I have mastered it .

so I should keep my res totally full now that you say that I do have or did have until I just filled it a water fall droping into my res

was also wondering i forgot to buy sea cal that helps with nitrogen i guess does epsom salts really help with that proplem or should I get some sea cal right away cant really afford it until after xmas wondering if there is anything else that would help
