What would be the best way to prepare a 5gal bucket for a soil grow? Mostly just want to know how many and what size holes to drill. The soil is a 40%peat moss, 30%perlite, 20%manure, 10%sand.

Hey started a new grow (new place), but im not near anywhere i could get any decent soil. So i decided to make my own, got perlite(had to settle for the MG brand, will that be a problem?), peat moss, and a compost mix. Anything im missing or i should add?

If its just the bottom leaves, don't worry. Its usually expected for the lower leaves to fall off during the growth stage. Whats the air flow/ temp like? Plants are looking good, don't baby them, its a weed, it wants to grow. ha :-o
