I don't think it's your lights man. I'm running about the same amount of lights, 20-26 watters (520 total watts) I noticed maybe a $30-$40 increase. Been steady like that for 6 months. Ran them 24/7 until maybe 2 months ago. Now 12/12. And yes, watts are watts.

I'm asking a question for a friend who is growing. His plant, in my guesstimation still needs to bake for at least another 2 weeks, but all his foliage has pretty much all turned yellow. Is it best to just continue to let it flower until it dies, or is leaving buds on a dieing plant not a good idea?

Yeah, I realize about the seed factor and yet another strain could be in the mix. Funny, the buds weren't dense or even very dry. In fact you could see some white pistils in there too. Just looked like typical street corner weed, but damn it was nice.

I can't see how that makes any sense. The buds are going to dry out alot faster if they aren't attached to the plant. If the plant is not dead, how are the buds going to be dryer than if you chop them, get them on a rack and get some air moving around them?

I've got a fairly large indoor plant (over 4 feet) and about 75% of the buds are ready to harvest, leaving about 25% of the buds needing another week or so. Question is, will it put too much stress on the plant to cut 75% of it down?

If you mix more than you're going to use each time, put it in the refrigerator. That stuff get putrid when it sits out, even in a closed container.

I'll give her some, but I don't know if I can bring her back or not. She is getting pretty light green and fading to yellow.

I'm having trouble reading the trichomes. Depending on light and how you look at them they can look clear and cloudy. Been flowering for 2 months now. A small percentage of the pistols have turned brown. The leaves on the plant itself are about drained of their green color and fading into...

I was able to tell after 2 weeks of flowering, but I had to use a magnifying glass.

Oh they'll kick up a hell of a stink under the warm lights . They actually smell less skunky during flowering. And in the end, the buds smell almost citrus like. I'm sure it's different for different strains.

I've tons of roots growing out of mine. I'm in the last week of flowering and it has never hurt a thing.

You need an adaptor to use this bulb.

If it were me and my space was limited, I would use a white Rubbermaid tub (18 quart) You can grow two potted plants in that. Clip some 26W, 5600K CFL's on the sides pointing down. Top the plants when they're young and LST them from there. This is how I grow.

Not sure if you are in the states or not, but that is only slightly less than I can by them locally and I don't have the cost of shipping.

I don't know how anyone grows in a PC case unless they are growing Lowryder strain. Is there a particular reason you have to keep it that stealth? Because if not it would make growing alot easier.
