Yeah it's better than buying a new light when everything but the leds shit out. The big thing for me was the case. I hate when I build a cob set up it's not enclosed in something. Makes me nervous to touch and shit.

So on the other note you think cobs would be the better choice even for a really tight low pro set up? Like say the clu038 1212. Some British supply sells them at ~$50 for 5.

Does excess wattage left over blow the led? Like say I have led that use 80 watts but the driver pushes 100 watts. Will that be a problem?

So here's my I update. Got it wired up and you were right @wietefras I needed more on the circuit. I put all 32 leds on and it's good to go. so then I plugged it into the power in my cabinet and I popped 2 leds so I replaced them. Plugged them in again. Blew another one out. Long story short...

So here's the led specs So at that 130v could run 36.111 led. Unless I should be going off the smaller number and calculate it for 80v. Which then my question would be why is there a range of voltage?
