Well I'm impressed if you consistently get that kind of yield, especially without CO2. I always thought most growers considered 2 lbs per 1000w the holy grail and upper most limit, but wouldn't 1g/watt mean 2.2 lbs for a 1000w light? Maybe I'm missing something.

I agree that you're watering too much. Are you just growing that one plant? 400w is overkill and a waste of electricity. Get a double bulb fluorescent and keep it 6-8" from your plant and save the 400 watter for the bloom phase.
