    Pruning during flowering help

you have provided fantastic help bro. looking at that fixture right now. if i get that in there by next week sometime (order + ship time) will it do anything at all or should i just focus on the 2 x 42w below and rig the 70w flood for the next go?

gotcha. i was just discussing that with my gf and we said "ah fuck we need a ballast." so the flood is like the outdoor light fixture right? no ballast

    Pruning during flowering help

right on man. i have the new recipe for success: one warm cfl 125w + one 70w hps above. for veg i can keep the clones with mommy (all cfl) and i will add the 125w cool in with the veg/mom group. sound pretty decent on3tim3?

    Pruning during flowering help

god i cant wait to move this fucking ensemble out of the closet and build an actual funtioning room. how will the stretch be with the lighter duty hps? i experienced a rapid growth explosion after going 12/12 when the clones were about 10 days old. will the stretch be about the same all...

right - leaving the little red haired babies to get some 42 watt sun on them from below. what about the 70w horizontal above/125w cfl vertical in front idea?

    Pruning during flowering help

i got ya. can i still reap some rewards if i get a 70w hps (my current fixture will accomodate that base/bulb) and put it on top and then move the warm 125w cfl to the front, vertical position? i am in week 5 now, and not sure if i have anymore that 2.5 to 3 weeks to play with....

    Pruning during flowering help

you got reps now. i had to figure out how to do it. i am looking over th 70w hps bulbs from the link you sent. i can keep those cfls for the veg as you said but those 70w hps are cheaper than what i have now. i have over $100 just in those 2 bulbs that arent very impressive. much obliged...

yeah, you are right about the burn. lost a few that way with the vertical light standing in front. for cfl's the 125 watters can be friggin hot. what is this about the radio waves from them though? props on3tim3

    Pruning during flowering help

thanks for that. the way i have been going, i have the 125w warm on top and another vertical fixture right in front (i turn the plants once a day to accomodate). the vertical 125w cool is about 14" long and seems to hit the bottom but it sounds as though i still need more. what will be the...

    Pruning during flowering help

right on. thank you for the input. yeah more light is definatley needed! my biggest concern is sucking energy that could be put in the colas and using it on the lower buds that have quit producing white hairs. thanks again for the replys.

    Pruning during flowering help

Hi All, I have 2 plants from decent bag weed. both are stretched a bit due to only using 2 x 125w CFL (one cool, one warm). I am in week 5 of flowering and have not trimmed the plants at all really during the entire veg/flower. My question is that i have noticed the small lower branches...

    did i chop a female?

sounds like a hermie to me. they can be a bit difficult to tell sometimes. the "balls" on them are kinda pointy with lines/stripes on them. thats what my last one that was hermie looked like anyway.
