Yh it needs alittle more light down there thats all chaap
buy 2 x 42w blubs and then watch it grow the more the better
LOL but it you get a 70w hps floodlight and put that at the top of the plant 1 foot away than you can lose some CFLS but you wanna keep some man

I'm new at this, but if you trimmed the lower ones, wouldn't you get the plant putting more of its energy into the main buds?

Just curious :)

i got ya. can i still reap some rewards if i get a 70w hps (my current fixture will accomodate that base/bulb) and put it on top and then move the warm 125w cfl to the front, vertical position? i am in week 5 now, and not sure if i have anymore that 2.5 to 3 weeks to play with....

right - leaving the little red haired babies to get some 42 watt sun on them from below. what about the 70w horizontal above/125w cfl vertical in front idea?

god i cant wait to move this fucking ensemble out of the closet and build an actual funtioning room. how will the stretch be with the lighter duty hps? i experienced a rapid growth explosion after going 12/12 when the clones were about 10 days old. will the stretch be about the same all around or less with hps? thanks again.

right on man. i have the new recipe for success: one warm cfl 125w + one 70w hps above. for veg i can keep the clones with mommy (all cfl) and i will add the 125w cool in with the veg/mom group. sound pretty decent on3tim3?

gotcha. i was just discussing that with my gf and we said "ah fuck we need a ballast." so the flood is like the outdoor light fixture right? no ballast
