Got it working lu, and thanks to all. I snipped the female so i had 3 wires at both ends. and wired it all. Im dangerous lol. Thanks again

Sorry if the pics are bad. I get what you are saying. I dont understand how to do the wiring into the light fixture with the white cable. However the ballast has the same wiring done and a female coming out. That would make 2 females meet which obviously dont fit. The other is a plug on the ballast.

Okay so ive bought a package deal consisting of the following: 1 * 600w Futuretech Magentic Ballast 1 * Euro reflector 1 * 600 w Sylvania Bulb (dont think this is actually what I received) My problem is the cables provided dont add up and im pretty sure some wiring is to be done. Here...

My ballast is a little different. The only option for a cable to the lamp is a female. My reflector came with a female and 3 wire ending cable. Ill take pics tomorrow. Im getting it changed and i think the one i should have got is the same as yours.

DERRP i only realise what female and male are. Now i can distinguish them lol. Right my ballast has a male end for the plug in wall. other side has female. However the cable i got with the reflector is 3 wires on one end (presumably to go in the e40 fixture and a female on the other end. But...

Yeah i thought that myself. Hopefully when I get the right ballast it will be like that. I take it the 400w wont work at all with the 600w bulb? Thanks irishmc i deffo will if it require wiring. The ballast i have here has a weird plug 3 rounded tips on it. that fits into the 'POWER' side...

Okay so i realized the lad gave me the wrong ballast so ive contacted him and am awaiting reply on the matter. 400w instead of 600w. Maybe that explains why the wires and plus were confusing? Is it just me or do the plugs not fit into each other? My reflector came with an input end for a plug...

Rang the lad yesterday, hes going to drop the stuff today himself. He was apparantly in Holland for the weekend lawl. Gives me the impression he has a shed full of this stuff. Dying to slap some Biobizz Bloom into my Aerogarden and get my last 2 weeks of flowering done with the 600w badboy :)

Lads has anyone bought from tarahydroponics.com before? I ordered last thursday still received nothing. Meant to be an overnight fastway courier delivery and it still says "Received" in my account on the website. Number rang out earlier... Worried!

Ordered the 600w HPS kit special on at Tarahydroponics.com, gonna build it into my own custom grow box and sit my Aerogarden inside it too. Anyone had experience with that crowd?

My babies about month and a half in and they are only just showing signs of flowering. Reached the top level in my aerogarden light fixture height. Now on a 12/12 cycle lets see some nuggggs :D
