Led lights arent that efficient because they can get really hot and they don't have that much more lumen output than CFL's, so you cant have LED lights as close to the plant as you could with CFL's. I'd think your best bet would be to go with the CFL's

Yeah it was at the top of the main stem cause i lost my cola in the windstorm:cry: But it wasint an actual knot, it was just the non pointed side of the seed, and it had a ring which made it look like a knot.

Yep still vegging, my biggest one is getting lanky and kinda falling over so i used a straw and some floro wire to help hold it up. It seems to be ok though. ill try to post some pics later.

400 and 250 watt what? HPS or MH? And how close is the light to the plant, it should be around a foot if not more if your using something like a HPS. And HOLY CRAP 97-103,:o Get a fan in that bitch.
