A MH Light is the very best light you can use for veg. But i think it would be over kill in clones? Idunno about clones. But for veg They just cant be beat. I'll let someone who has more experience With MH lights tlk about the clone part. :peace:

For cfl's no. For hps and HID, Yes but its very hard (and cost a shitload of money) to get to that point so i'd say no.

Digital ballasts run like any other ballast in my opinion, Buddy of mine had one a while back. Truth is any other name brand Ballast will work just as good as a digital one. But it all comes down to personal preference. And how much money you have to waste.For a flower room just get a 400 watt...
