Got the album a week before it came out and I'm still loving it. It's not the best I've ever heard, but it's pretty damn good. I'm not diggin' the "la la" or the one with fab on it, but other than that it was a good production. Sold over a mil in the first week, too.

started a thread in music about it. i love the album. one of the greatest ever IMO.

Take the education and self-decision approach. Explain to him why you're worried and educate him about why he's to young right now. Then let him decide. You're probably not going to keep him from doing it all together but he might slow down.

I think Ivory's first point of call is to find out where he's getting his supply from. Then you can at least regulate it a bit so he doesn't go too over the top.

my advise is just say if u get good grades ill smoke u out fat blunts. if u get bad grades im telling mom. might work. it wouldve worked on me.

Well we had a 3 hour talk And it came to this:

1 He told me who his dealer is, So me and him walked to his house. Told him not to give my bro no more weed. He said it was cool and there wasnt any problems. So thats taken cared of.

2 We discussed the pros and cons of smoking so young. told him what i been through.

3 Ended up making a Deal that will hopefully turn out right. He can only smoke at my house with me under my supervision. If he does the shit he's sopposed to do. Took alot outta me but hes gonna do it anyway might as well be with me where i know what weed hes smokin, Who hes with, and what he does. So at the end of the talk ended up sparkin a J Had a couple laughs.

Myself I started at what I'd say was young, didnt do it all the time as I took note of what I was taught by my family...

Moderation is key to enjoying something fully and having your life with priority.


Instead of flat out saying NO tell just give him the facts and explain the truth and teach him how to be a responsible user if he chooses to keep despite what you say..

Just because you did that doesn't mean you have to tolerate him toking up at your home and shit. But you also may want ask and not "rat him out" but just see where else he tokes cause well better him do it safely then in danger (trust me, I've met some people who toke in some retarded places)

glad things worked out. that was a great way of handling the situation. now you gotta teach him everything you know about pot so he can grow up to be a good little stoner

Just explain to him that the pot won't have the same appeal in a matter of time. That it will loose its luster in many ways. Tell him when he gets older that the pot will be enjoyed much better if he has success in his life. Point being, to put hard work ahead of the pot, not pot ahead of hard work....

And tell him what I think should be a ganja golden rule, to either ride with pot and a clear head, or a foggy head with no pot. But riding with both at the same time will cause him trouble with the law...

you know he's going to smoke weed regardless of what you say. so would you rather him be safe and smoke with you at your place or not know where he is smoking? it is a tough decision but that's how i think of it.
