Plant Snapped Completely IN TWO... Can it be saved?

As you can see, after I stuck the broken part into a gallon jug of water with Big Bud Powder mixed, the plant did stand back up so I am trying to possibly come up with some cloning solution to save what I've got... the one cutting in the next-to-last picture is healthy WITHOUT any root...

Plant Snapped Completely IN TWO... Can it be saved?

I'm fearful that it can't be saved either... and unfortunately I don't have any rooting compound that I can use to make cuttings from... disappointing as hell... the plant was over 6 feet tall and was beautiful... now everything above the break (95% of the plant) is drooping.... I'm heartbroken :(

Plant Snapped Completely IN TWO... Can it be saved?

Guys I was trying to move my plant and an old wound that never healed up snapped again, but this time it snapped completely into two pieces... is there anything I can do to save it? It's flowering in the second week and I really don't want to lose what had the potential to be a good-sized plant :(

Some Pics of This Year's Outdoor Grow Attempt! ~ Feedback Welcomed!

Here's a pictorial update. Going to have to change some pots out soon but all in all I think they are coming along nicely. Also worth noting is that one of my plants maled out, so I quarantined it. This means that my initial thought that they were all female turned out to be false, but I'm...

Some Pics of This Year's Outdoor Grow Attempt! ~ Feedback Welcomed!

They get direct sunlight from 8am until 7PM (the sun beaming down on them in all its glory) and then they get the natural daylight until the sun has completely set... so I don't think shade is an issue. As for the lankiness of the plant, it could be due to the fact that I started them in a...

Some Pics of This Year's Outdoor Grow Attempt! ~ Feedback Welcomed!

Greetings fellow smokers! :eyesmoke: Just wanted to share some pics of this year's grow and hopefully get some feedback. I do believe all 5 are female. As for the strains, well, your guess is as good as mine:confused:... they are of the random bag-seed variety. That being said, I placed them...

Question - Heath Zenith SL-5503-BZ 300 Watt Halogen Floodlight - Can it Work?

In regard to the CFL reflectors... since they are made out of aluminum and therefore have the same reflective ability as aluminum foil.... wouldn't the foil suffice in situations such as this??

Question - Heath Zenith SL-5503-BZ 300 Watt Halogen Floodlight - Can it Work?

Cheers, sir!:eyesmoke: That's how we educate ourselves, correct? We ask questions and hopefully get answers from people who have been there, done that, and lived to tell about it. As for everyone else, thank you so much for the feedback. I appreciate all the suggestions and will definitely be...

Question - Heath Zenith SL-5503-BZ 300 Watt Halogen Floodlight - Can it Work?

Thanks for the reply, Mikey. I'll definitely give the book a look over if I can locate it. In the meantime, is there any specific type of CFL's we're talking about, or will the standard light socket ones work? If so, how many lights would I need to be successful? I do appreciate the reply!

need to know how im doing

Your plants look very healthy so far as I can see and appears to still be in the pre-flowering stage. Based upon the quick glance I gave it and the one close-up pic you provided I would say that it's well on its way to being a healthy female. Some more pictures of a close-up view would be...

Question - Heath Zenith SL-5503-BZ 300 Watt Halogen Floodlight - Can it Work?

Thanks for the feedback all. I have noticed that the heat intensity is so lop-sided in comparison to the amount of "pure" light it produces... I wonder if there is a way to perhaps boost the strength of a light... perhaps by encasing the plants in a colored- glass/plastic dome of some sorts...

3/5 seedlings have no roots help please

You can pick up a root compound that will allow for the quick development of roots. There are several on the market but I have heard a lot of positive feedback in regard to Vita Grow Rooting Compound, which can be picked up $9.00 and upward. This is pretty much the only surefire way I can...

Question - Heath Zenith SL-5503-BZ 300 Watt Halogen Floodlight - Can it Work?

I recently acquired one of these lights and was wondering if it would be capable of growing 1 or 2 plants at a time with. It has a clear 300 watt T3 halogen bulb and while I realize the light puts off more heat than light I was wondering it it would be capable of sustaining and allowing 1 or 2...
