The trichs don't disappear, that would go against the laws of nature, they are still there even if damaged. As long as you rinse everything really good through the screen, it still settles and you get hash. Its bad hash, we know, but its hash.
Sorry man, not all of us have the money for a bubbleator...
If it gets you high, and changes color with pressure and heat, its hash... even if it is gumby hash.
Buy a tshirt screen (I think its 120 microns) then do this.
1) Blend your leaves in blender with Ice and Water for 15 min (do it the full fifteen I promise) Use just enough water so it blends well with the ice. If all the ice melts, add more, you need it as cold as possible for the chemical...
Honestly, you can grow but up to 90 f. They can just get a little stressed. I had to do a grow last summer and the temp Never got below 80 even at darkcycle and they still produced an hp between 6 plants. In short, You'll be ok at 83 but you could drop it.
Kind of a pickle... Just picked up my first 1000 watt light. Been growing successfully with a few 4 hundos for years and I'm ready for a new challenge.
So my question is.. My grow space is 8' x 4' x 6' (LWH) and I got a air-cooled hood (6") when I bought the light. I have 2 - 440 cfm...
For THC from a wet cannabis plant to become psychoactive, it has to first lose a carbon atom, decarboxynilization (sorry for the spelling) which is done during drying/curing. All fast drying does is get the moisture out when you still need to lose that carbon atom. Some of the molecules on the...
You can start 12/12 anytime you want, even from seed. So it is at your discretion when you flip the light cycle. Just know the bigger you get them in veg, the tall they are going to be in the end by means of stretching. Those look pretty indica so you shouldn't have ridiculous stretching.
If...
That's cool man. I'm glad you've had success. Those pretty much make it a no brainer for nutrients! Can't buy much better these days...
Stick to the schedule and you should have some amazing results!
Hey!
I doubt that the nutrient from the fruit would ever be absorbed by the plant. That is why the composting step is so import for organic matter. The decomposition if the matter is what provides the nutrients.
So simply, no, I don't think dried or fresh fruit would help at all.
You might...
Its a great idea, no doubt about it. Its like tactical warfare, but for growing. But I would love for you to find a desk fan that can cover up the sound of 3-12" vortexes. When you do, you definitely get hold of me.
For sure that's a good plan.
You might wanna think about picking up a timer anyway. They're like ten bucks at wally world and they save your ass if you have to be out of town. Especially, when you flip it to 12/12 and you might not be at home while the light need to go on and off.
Cheers!
Just look into HID, cfls will never get you the density you want unless you veg a for good amount of time to increase the root zone before you waste time by only having one small cola per plant.
I'm no expert at cfl growing but they are just a headache.
That sucks I've been there!
Leave it on the same time schedule you had it on. Since the plants are just vegging they will bounce back fast and there will be little damage, they'll just be stunted for a few days (not unlike if one didn't eat for two days, one would be a little frail for a few...
Go to your local hydro store. You can use cash and they rarely ask questions. The less things sent to your address with your name on them the better.
$14 a quart isn't too bad of a deal, you can probably get it cheaper online but it would be safer. easier and faster just to get them locally...
you don't need to boost co2. Next time just be more gentle and maybe add some root stimulator when you water right after the transplant. Make sure you always transplant IN THE DARK.
A 400W hps is going to be the easiest thing to work with. Don't hassle yourself with cfls, they're more work than worth and the 200 bucks you spend on the hps will make ten times that on your next harvest. I just grew 10.5 oz on one 400w light 12/12 from seed. It took just under 3 months with...
