    Can't stand the wait

It's an 80% sativa strain called Brain Candy from grower;s choice, recommends 9 weeks flowering time. Unfortunately, my 100 some odd year old wiring can barely handle a few CFL's, and I have to unplug it to use the microwave or it blows the fuse. There's really no possibility to upgrade the...

Now that I have a male, how can I make the best of it?

I only grow one at a time so there's no risk of pollinating an unlucky female. Is there anything I can do with a baby boy now that I have one? Does it smoke well at all? Hash? Do I need to find the guy in the park to keep me going until I'm back on course. This is my first male.

It worked great. I got three times the yield on the next plant.

    Can't stand the wait

Got it now on 4 CFL's each 3000 lumens/ 45Watts, total of 12,000 lumens. 2 lights about an inch off the top, 2 suspended on the side of the plant half way down. It's probably too late to change this one, we'll see how it works out on the next plant.

    Can't stand the wait

'Fluffy' is a good description. I have 3 x 25W lights, 1700 lumens each. Yes it did stretch when I put it in flower. It kept touching the lights and burning, so I moved the lights up, the stem really stretched so it's 5 ft tall now. The lights are on a timer, so no concerns there, and it's...

    Can't stand the wait

Here's the top of my plant, 10 weeks after switching to 12/12 in a hydro setup. I don't seem to getting nice tight looking buds. I've got 3 CFL's on one plant, could use more? Trichomes are clear, maybe 5% cloudy ones. How much longer???

    Yellow Spots!

Here's the next three day's pics. It seems to be back on track. She's growing little branches off of the dead leaves at the bottom, and the young leaves that were starting to yellow have greened back up. I have the pH kit where you match the colours. It's just not that specific...

    Yellow Spots!

Well, I bought a digital pH tester on ebay, I'm waiting for it to come in the mail before I change the solution.

    Yellow Spots!

I've got it on 20hrs/ 4hrs. It's still producing new growth and the new growth isn't curling up like a taco, but the tips are starting to yellow.

    Yellow Spots!

The plant responded to the corrected pH, when I tested again the next day, whatever the plant was doing, the pH was raised up a few points, so I lowered it again. Temp is 75-78 F, I don't have a measure on the humidity, I feels humid to me, maybe 70%, but I do keep a fan on it at all times.

    Yellow Spots!

That's the only one. I've grown legitimate vegetables hydroponically when I was student so I know the basics, but that was in a professional lab with all the best equipment.

    Yellow Spots!

I chucked out half the nutrient solution and replaced it with standing water and got a better pH test kit and dropped the pH to 5.7. We'll see what happens.

    Yellow Spots!

I guess what's done is done for the early stages, it's three weeks old now and the spots are spreading up the plant. I'm afraid it's going to consume all the new growth because it looks noticeably yellower in the inter-veinal areas on the newest leaves, if you compare the pictures from 4 days...

    Yellow Spots!

I added 1/8th tsp/gallon epsom salt yesterday. The spots that were starting to go look like toast, but it hasn't continued to spread, so I added more eposom salt, hopefully that's the end of the problem.
