no kidding, get yourself that good old 600w workhorse and you may have heat problems or electricity problems but there will never be any doubt that you have enough light to grow some top shelf pot.

I just got nailed on some other thread for claiming it is hard to beat that good old 600w mh/hps with an led. And I grow under led.

it's a moot point in someways. If I let the canopy get closer than 18 inches from the led it will start bleaching my leaves. So, 18 inches is about the minimum. You can expand the foot print by raising the light. I figure, 18 inches covers about 2x2.

i grow under led and will never go back to hid, but I have never found an led that will out perform a 600w mh/hps.

i switched in the middle of flowering when I bought my new led...no problem

I think when more start growing under led, their idea of what a perfect plant looks like may change

Almost anything they sell (food-wise) is better than what I can cook at home. Making coffee is a challenge for me. oh man, anybody can make food, it is easy, just comes naturally. Now making a light? Oh no, that would be impossible. I should make you some food and you should make me a light.
