If you're cutting before mid October youre cutting yourself short. Some strains won't even really be finished til November. But it's your plant, if you're in a hurry for some smoke just cut a few branches off and microwave it.

Yes your CFL results impressive, better than some of mine with a 400watt hps. I usually harvest 1.5 to 2.5oz per plant. 2 or 3 plants flowering in different stages. I top once after 4 or 5 nodes. Sometimes tying down sides. Lots of decent size buds but rarely anything half the size of those.

I think they are looking for big grows. Imagine a guy with 3 or 4 1000watt hps lights, an air conditioner or dehumidifier. Plus other things you might run in a big grow. There is so much heat that you can't vent it into the house. So they would vent it out of a window. That stream of hot air...
