soil is convenient because of what it can retain and what means for your overall growth,lol gotta keep testing with what you have, all the newbs will make a perfect system!

Yea it makes sense to me that soil could be all over the board its just a medium of variation! its possible to me your plant is adjusting to new conditions so its not taking in as much water/food but unless you actually see something that sets off alarms you could still have a "boom" moment...

I'm currently using soil as well, And I think running dry especially on the top half might be the way to go in order dry out mildew and molds, I think your plant should be fine as long as you remember how moist your soil stays in between watering and remember it will change as the plant changes...

I'm pretty much going for nice moist soil and dry container before I add more water to it. but yea I don't like standing water especially if its not aerated.

Right now I'm using a reservoir as a way to bottom feed my plants mainly water its working out pretty well, I also make sure to run the container dry to get rid of any standing water.

I need to ask about soil, there does not seem to be anything in it aside from peat moss It called premier potting soil I been wetting it down over the last few days, because of that I really hate germination guys
