Would you happen to mean a pressure cooker rack? you could technically use anything as long as it is heat resistant, won't move around and keeps your jars out of the water.. personally I have found that tea towels or jar lids with holes in them work great

It's important that you dry them correctly (cracker dry). Once dried pretty much anything air tight will do... vacuum sealed bags work great

Nice work man!!! As already said, harvest just before or as the veil starts to break. Unless you want to make a print, for that harvest after veil has completely broken and cap has flattened out. From what I can see, your fc doesn't have any holes for fae.. how often are you opening the tub a day?

Some advantages Faster colonisation time( also less time for contams to develop), cakes take up less space when sterilising- fruiting ect, you can inoculate more small jars than large

if it's been completely white for a week I would say you're good to go!! So far you are doing great!! 11 out of 12 is pretty good for a first timer, you are obviously taking this seriously and putting in effort.. keep up the good work!!

How long has it been since it was completely white on the outside? It's best to let it sit for another week once the outside is completely covered with mycelium, so it has time to reach the centre( reduces stalling in fc and chance of contams) If you have a dry vermiculite layer at the mouth of...

If this is for your mushrooms... an incubator isn't necessary
