So for The light I am building I would like to use a controller, which leads me into using the LDD Drivers so things are able to be controlled.. What I’m not understanding is 1) Say I chose an AC/DC power source that has an output of 36 Volts, and I want to control 5 different strings of LEDS...

Also on rapid LED it says you can only dim Meanwell LDD drivers with a bluefish controller, so does that mean I can’t dim an hlg-480-24b using one?

Would I need some sort of 5 port break out board? Or how would I do that?

So it seems like my best bet would be to run white leds, reds, far reds, and blues on separate drivers with a hub for each one.. which maybe might get expensive as opposed to just one of the bluefish controllers, but you’re saying if I had a driver that was only putting out 24v then the bluefish...

The only videos I’m really finding with dimming are using these ldd drivers, but this is kinda new to me since everything I’ve looked at is the hlg series, and on rapidled it says those lighting controllers work only with with the ldd drivers, is this true?

Is it possible, that using what you said, that you could set separate dimming zones in-line off of the same driver if you’re using one driver to control both white and red light?

Yeah I think that’s the route I might go, I just really don’t wanna downgrade my size. I have been growing in a 5x5x7 room I built out of plywood and 2x4’s I’d be downgrading to go in a 4x4 room anyway.. I already did all the work designing and buying everything to build a light for 4x4 room...
