The drivers are capable of running one more cob per fixture. I ordered 4 4k vero29c to build a seperate veg light but now thinking i should relocate the huge drivers on the side and mount the 4k in the middle and dim it down to 400w!! Any suggestions? Would a 2700k do better in middle then...

So finished this one! 24 x 20 frame cobs can slide back and forth and screwd tight if i find a sweet spot!!

So i decided on the hlg480-c1400b!! Now I'm wondering if the newer meanwell drivers 0-10v( dim to off) need a resistor before the potentiometer? Vs the old drivers 1-10v. I know I should add one on the pos side for full driver output but not so sure about dimming below 10%. Any info appreciated!!

Right!! But I've also hear to put one on the negative side as well, so the driver doesn't go below 10% dimm from what meanwell states, it can cause problems!! But like I said I'm not 100%

I'm not 100% but pretty sure. I'm still learning myself as I just got 3 hlg480-c1400b and it's dim to off and wondering if I need resistors!!

I believe the two smaller meanwell hlg 185 and 240 do not dim below 10% meaning no resistor before the potentiometer. What I don't know is this new dim to off, is it still required to use a resistor?

Haha one of my kids toys I just cut a peice of paper and used the toy as a weight to hold the paper from moving for example of the metal back!! Turn it inside out and set it on ground and it will pop into the air lol.There old school!

@CobKits @welight One hole falls under the metal chip but not the les!! Is this ok or what should I fill extra 4 holes with, tim, or run extra screws in and cut heads off?? Will be pushing 85 to 100 w. Dont want to ruin my veros!

Ok, I just looked and they are se (poke in)version! The Se is the same spacing but only 2 holes! So after taking a quick look at my v4, the reflector holder align with se holes and use longer screws to hold it! So the cob and the reflector holder are held by the same screw!! They are ledil...

Thanks for the Information! I'm almost 100% on getting the solder version! I have se on my timber v4 model that has a ledil reflector but haven't looked much into optics and the two you pictured above are the only ones I've seen!! What kind are you referring too that will not fit with the se?

The Se and regular vero29 both have built in holders! The Se has poke in connection and the regular has Molex plug or soder!! I know the Molex connectors are not rated to run in series. I need to know the voltage rating of the holder of the regular vero29 c if using the solder connections!
