I wouold have loved to have gotten the switchable but I couldn't afford it.
I had purchased one off of eBay but the guy made a mistake and it ended up costing me almost $80 from my paypal account but I didn't know it until it was too late. My paypal account is hooked up to my bank account so they just deducted my account.
He sadi it would have cost him $200 to ship it but quoted around $25.

That type of thing doesn't happen often so don't worry. Just make sure the shipping is stated as is.

ganja can you let us know what you decide on- I was just looking at the same light on EBAY 300 vs 600! big diff. Well if you get it let us know how it turns out please

why do u need a switchable ballest. i have a 1000 wtt hps ballest it is not switchable & i run both hps & mh in it. i just takes the mh a few minutes to light up, so why pay extra.:hump::hump:

Ganga85.....I have a similar system.(1000k from SunSystems). My ballast is mounted outside the grow room. It's very heavy and produces alot of heat. With the ballast mounted on top the fixture must be super heavy. Plus the extra would be hard to get rid of.This wouldn't work for my situation but it may work just fine for you..You can't beat that price, mine was about 600...Good Luck with whatever you decide..

Thanks Guys for ur help, and sorry for the slow response, i've been been out of state buying new bus. I bought digital Lumatec HPS/MH 600 watt system, and getting ready to set it up. I will keep you posted on my progress. And does any body know whats the Min and Max temperature range plants can handle???????

A dual spectrum light is excellent if you have the bucks for those. I would love to flower with both a MH and hps combined. :mrgreen::peace:

Lacy, sweetheart, i need some help form you girl, so my plants is about 1 inch tall, and keep them in a rockwool, they have only 2 leaves for now. I water them every day with rain water i collected a week ago. I dont know when i have to switch to nutes??????? Do you know when i should do that?
