nice,thanks man.any comments on the whole flowering the other half of the plant?

Basically cut ur starting weight by 1/2 to 2/3 and you'll get an approximation of ur dry weight. 70% or so of the bud is water.

A lot of growers will chop the main tops/colas, then put the rest back in flowering to grow and mature some more. This redirects the plants energy to the remaining growth. I know people who have added a zip or two to their yield that way, but it takes a couple of weeks longer to finish up. If your not doing any sort of perpetual grow/sog/scrog/etc I'd definitely recommend doing it. I'm about to do the same to 3 girls I've got that are within a week or so of harvest time.

exectly what i herd lol. my grow is on the virge of being perpetual and i can use every gram i can pull,so i threw it back under the HPS.i hope to see those ladies of yours at harvest time! thanks man

yes i do!! I actually never heardof this before.. but have thought about this before.. wondering if it would work.. and now I know it does. Well.. I got about 2-3 weeks left on my White Widow.. soo I'll be sure to check in on this thread to see how it works out for ya!

Im guessin you got the White Castle from Nirvana right?? I got my White Widow from Nirvana too. I was curious about the White Castle cuz I neva heard of it.. and couldnt seem 2 find any1 that has grown it.. soo far, as far as smell/yield.. wat do you think? I wanted to know how long u vegged for? and how long u flowered for too?

Soo wen you cut of the main cola.. and some of the other branches... did you do it any special way?? or did you just chop away?? lol. I would just be worried that after choping the main branch(es) off.. that it would cause the rest of the plant to die?

yea i got it from nirvana. its a nice strain, smell is potents almost that pinch your nose kinda spicy smell. its real bushy and tight node spacing. very vigerous and matured quickly. as far as yield,i cant give an accurate description yet,i have 3 more germing now. as for this one here,all that i choped dryed out to like 40 grams. there is about another 50wet grams on the plant thats back into flower.. i havnt noticed any particulary new growth,but its only been a week or so. i vegged this one for way to long like almost4 months and never transplanted into anything bigger than 2.5 gallon containers. so they became rootbound and they wernt being watered properly for a long time,also they got burned by a ballast fuck up. so im sure given less stress full conditions throught her life she would have yielded better. ill know better with the next round of WC's
