1.2m + 600 w with 6 plants ?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about my first grow.I have 1.2m tent with 600w hps.So I wonder how many pots fit in there.I would go 11L pots with 6 plants and veg for 30 days and also using a screen method.What do you think ?

That'll work. Although I'd go with larger pots, and veg time may variate a little depending on the strain.

I agree with @Sativied if you're only going with six plants regarding the pot size.

What strain are you growing? If it's a nice, tight indica, you can veg them for longer and get better results.

buy fem seeds is the only thing i wanted to chime in on. i found with limited light and space, reg seeds might male or hermie leaving you with just a few females. pissed me off something fierce.

The strain is big bang and ww.I think 11 pots with 6 plants would be ok,unless grab 18l pots with 4 plants..I'm a little confused.I'd like to veg only 30 days.

A 600w HPS is enough, but you still have room to get to ideal. HPS does a great job of covering the flowering spectrum, but you could add some 6500k or blue end spectrum to help them grow thicker stems and just grow faster in veg. Also UVB if you want more resin/super dank.

You are at 5300lm/sqft. That is about average from what I have seen from setups on here. Ideal is a little bit more powerful, at 6500-7500 lumens/sqft.
