1.5 weeks old GG need help with crinkled leaves please!

1st grow in many years, 1st in organic soil. Used FF Ocean Forest, covered germinated seed in mycorrhizae before planting and around the hole. 4 plants were 2-4" from 2x40w cfl tubes. Temps average about 78, don't go above 83 or below 64-63 at night. Humidity ranges from 50-75%, but averages around 60%. I only watered with RO water for the first half week, then mixed 2 cups RO with liquid seaweed, urb, and mycorrhizae and have been watering with that for a few days. I use a garden sprayer on mist to water, I wait until the top soil is dry and mist until saturated, never getting runoff. 3 days ago I switched to my 315w cmh phillips 3100k. 4" intake fan with carbon filter. Smart 6" exhaust fan. Small fan inside to move air, not pointed at plants. Smart humidifier to maintain RH. Heater with thermo for night temps. 5x5x80" tent.

Shortly after i noticed leaves starting to crinkle. I thought maybe light too close, it was 3', now light is at top of 80" tent and cups are at the bottom, so maybe 5.5' now. I lowered the temps a bit last night and today, trying to average around 75, not going above 80. RH seems good still for early stage. I was hoping to see less crinkle today after moving the lights and having 6 hours of dark but i'm getting nervous now, I thought growth seemed a bit slow also.

I think I'm going to go back to watering straight RO for a bit, I always read FFOF was good for the first month with water only. But the products I'm using I didn't would cause any harm by using this early. The one thing I haven't done is PH'd soil or water mixture, just got distilled water will do that today.

Please help, and thanks in advance :)

They are looking much better today. I think temps were too high and light was too close. The 315 cmh is not about 5' or so away, temps are adjusted to 70-75 deg, RH 60%+Glue 3.jpg

Mine are 12 days old, not much taller but more sets of leaves. First 3 days I had bad RH, Ive configured things to get it up to 45-54%......temps 61 low 77 high. I live in the NE, 100 miles from Canada its cold and dry

Will add pics later, you aren't far behind.

Was gonna rip out the Wedding Cake plant...worst start I've had w/ any plant....I still might.

I have a new tent on the way, this one has 1000 pinholes, torn zipper. A tall oscillating tower fan is on the way.

My first set of 3 leaves are coming strong actually, seemed like growth is really picking up. And I check on em hourly. Not sure if I added that I have an exhale xl hung just above the plants to add C02.

It would be hard for me to rip any plant out unless it's dead. Your orange cookies looking good :weed:

I am trying to follow ILGM grow guide. And I've read elsewhere 70% Rh is good in the beginning cause the plant is absorbing more water than light, then lower weekly by 5% until you hit 45%. Then end of flower you lower to 40%. Let dry in tent at around 65 deg and 45% RH for 2 weeks, then I'll prolly buy a CVault for cure. Aiming for temps 70-75 day and 65-70 at night. 20 on 4 off.

Adding worm castings, compost, perlite, and dr earth to FFOF in 7 gallon pots when transfer. all organic. 100% FFOF atm. I even use organic cleaner to clean all components and tent. Water RO as needed, wait for .5" top soil to dry then saturate with garden sprayer on mist, no run off. I've been watering daily. Once a week I water with RO and seaweed, URB, mycorrhizae mixture. When it's bigger I will change that mixture and add a sock of compost and worm castings and make a tea. Flush with RO only last 2 weeks. It's an 8 week strain.

I built a 3x5' scrog, 2 layer, first 6" squares second 3.5" 4 plants in that area, I will be either buying another 315 cmh or adding a 400 w hps I have by the time i set up the scrog and move plants into final position and train. Flip to flower at 70% scrog full, trim and lollipop before flower flip, harvest 70% cloudy 30% amber.

That's the basic plan anyways....
