Today I found 1 tiny orange spider on top of the water splitter in the grow room. I assume this was a spider mite. I killed it immediately as I didn't want the little fucker to escape, so i have no pics. I have searched the room high and low but can't find any more or any signs of more other than the tiniest amount of webbing in the plant pot but not touching the plant at all, was right on.the side of the pot. I have 5 fans in the room (3 above and 2 below the canopy) I have defoled today and no signs of them being on the plant at all. I searched through the leaves to see if I could find any but there was nothing. I assume the 5 fans would make it too hard to breed or do I need to be concerned? I also found one of these flying around the space..... is it of any worry?

What is your pest management other than the fans? Do you have neem meal in your soil? Are you keeping air flow high by getting rid of leaves that are impeding air flow? How are your temps? What is the humidity?

This is what it looks like now so not a whole heap of anything impeding airflow. Temps/humidity during the day would range from 26-30C and around 55-65%. Night is 18-20C and roughly the same humidity. I have no other bug prevention except those yellow sticky traps. I searched the room high and low again today and still couldn't find anything

If you saw it with your naked eye, it probably wasn't a spider mite. More likely a beneficial mite. They are orange in color, move quickly, and pear shaped. They come out of the soil after you water and March up the plant eating whatever they find. Then they March back down in neat little columns. I sometimes narrate like David Edinburgh as I watch like a weirdo.

Through the haze of thick pungent cannabis smoke, the tiny mite makes its way back to its burrow. Having gorged itself on tiny helpless insects and microbes. The nest is dry now, but soon the rains will come and the March shall begin anew.

Yeah I wasn't a 100% it looked more like a spider than a mite but the colour threw me. About the size of a ball point pen. But as I say I killed it pretty quick as I panicked hahaha. Love the narration too
