1 Month old plants- any advice?

These are 2 plants I started about a month ago, was just wondering if they were doing okay, this is my first grow and any advice would be appreciated.

I plan on it but not sure what to use, i'd like to veg them for a couple more weeks then go from there, any suggestions on what nutes to use

Organic or Not get a bottle and feed those babies , to be blunt and honest they are a little behind and hungry for Nutrients ... Youll thanks yourself and they will too .........Maybe Roots Organics lineup , General Organics is another

they look good, but growth seems a little slow for a month's time. did you germinate them first or just plant seeds in soil?

these are about 21 days after germ. they're all about 5" tall after 4 of 8 were topped for the first time. span from tip to tip is over 10" on most, one is over 12". All but one are staying squat, for now. once they reach 10-12" tall it'll be time for 12/12.

You are very far behind where you should be. That soil looks terrible, tons of bark and zero perlite. You should have added some into the mix. What's your runoff pH at? I bet its low and there is nutrient lock out. Try to adjust pH with domitic lime if its low.. if pH is fine then your soil still sucks and they are already super hungry so feed w/ veg nutes. My month old plants have 6 colas and are 16-18 inches tall.

i plan on using USED coffee grrounds for veg trying homemade nutes with research done before hand of course im not just throwing rndom shit in there, only reason i mention this is because the grounds from the coffee give your plants a boost of nitrogen that your plants get quick acsess to, for flower im using ground up eggshells, im gonna make them dust and feed it through water but hats just what im doing.
