Is this too much water? leaves are yellow at bottom half

Also, they appear to be in 1st week of flowering. They have white pistil hairs underneath. As well as some pistils on top. Last time I fedd was about 3-5 days ago, bloom solution. Last time fed was yesterday morning, good amount cuz they were very dry. It has done much since starting to flower on aug 1st. Usually take this long to flower? I know 8/9 weeks. Thanks to all who reply.

Im not 100% sure but you might need to give it a bit of nitrogen. I would like someone else to back me up though before you do that.

it this point using jack's big bloom or whatever its called. switched over from jack's classic, the stuff with the good ole nites. Like I said, its in flowering or at the least pre flowering. Gettin the white hairs. But if you say I should go back to jack's classic, then I will.

At a nitrogen concentration of 10% she shouldn't be suffering from a deficiency...it's more than likely just pulling all the energy from the lower growth and focusing that towards vertical growth...keep doing what you're doing and if you have any more concerns or if this yellowing severly progresses, you can hit me up at my "help" thread...https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/354150-need-help-ask-away.html GL!

how come you don't see many ww's grown outside?
This is my first time growing at all, WW is the KB we found, so that's what we planted. Supposedly. We haven't done as much journaling or note-taking as I'd of liked. The spouse is more nervous than I am, which is quite a role-reversal.

We have 3 Girls outside, and some look different than others. If I can muster up the guts I'll post pix, but at least 1 of them looks very different with purple highlights on the bases of the leaves.

A previous resident grew here for decades with no problems, but his method was different and so were the neighbours.

I'm having some confusion issues with the uploader but I managed to get one pic up. Mornin' all. It's too early to be figuring this out! :dunce:

yellowing is perfectly natural, they are in transition from vegging to flower, thus they don't need nitrogen as much and botton leaves will yellow out and eventually die. no need to worry.

Any thoughts on my purple highlights? BTW these are being staked so they grow horizontally, but they're still nice and bushy, like 1 1/2 to 2 ft, easy.

Do you know the strain? It most likely is a purple...or it can just be pretty cold where you are...

Supposedly, it's White Widow.

Mr. Cannabis, I hope that's a good thing. Like I said, this is our first shot doing this, and we're both getting more psyched as the day(s) approach. It'll be an awesome excuse to bust out the coffee table, throw The Blues Brothers into the ol' DVD player, and send everyone home with a 'souvenier' for helping out with the trim... But the spouse doesn't think we'll need any help. I'm an optimist on this project, which is far from normal.

I think mr. cannabis was referring to the original poster...but it's most likely pretty cold where you are...

my girls are def gettin bigger. I had to move them. I do have a question about flowering: when it is in flower, does it need more/less/the same amount of sunlight as it did in vegetative? If I cut the sunlight down (for the different spot potentially) from maybe 8 hrs to 4 hrs, lets say, what would be the consequences so to speak with amount/size of buds?

Before you give it lime, ph some water and run it through, take a sample of the water comin out of the pot and see if its hi or lo, then make the call. Thats what I'd do.
