? 1 plant 18 gal container in dwc?

I really have been thinking hard about this but need or Want expert advice. Is it manageable to have 1 plant in an 18gal container in a dwc setup?

even easier when you have a larger res. it keeps ph and ppm swings much more steady, easier to keep cool longer, dont have to worry about topping off and you can grow huge trees that way. the best single plant dwc tote i have seen is the yellow and black strongbox in the 15gal size at walmart. very sturdy and lightproof.

Is a 6" net cup big enuff for that size?
