I hear that, the fattening buds is where it's at! That's a pain in the ass, i had vacations in parts of both my last grows that just fucked with my schedule as well, luckly all worked out in the end.

Start of week 7
Little white hairs started showing a day or two ago so blooming is beginning. I have around 40 bud site heads above the net all at about the same height as each other

Also just a side note, i'm not a paid endorser lol but I had lasik done recently so switching to the hps was stressin my eyes a bit so i bought a pair of Apollo Hort.'s $15 method 7 knock off glasses and they're great esp because they're 10x cheaper haha i took a pic thru the glasses and without so you can see the difference. Really helps with the stress on the eyes

Anyway here's some updates from today, this week was a crazy growth spurt, usual flowering stretch since she started showing signs of flower earlier this week as well.

Got a really nice even canopy, the pics don't do justice, she looks so much bigger in real life lol 2'x2' canopy, don't have the useable space to go any bigger so just letting her grow up and flower.

I have seen the bleaching on plants of mine in the past but it was because it needed food and often the newer folage is lighter anyways but looks nice and dence

Now its about the time to start defoliating any green under the screen.
Dont take too many off at one time do 5% here and there 5% a week should be good u want to take any green under the screen and about 60% from the top all them fan leafs that are blocking other tops, but i suggest that you do the bottom under the screen first.

Sweet setup man, you could really do some damage with all that, esp that flower room with 1000w you mentioned! I'm a noob too lol this is also only my 3rd grow as well. You could always join the other side and get your feet wet with some hydro;-) I'd run some 3 gal dwc buckets in that veg cab then move em into 5 gal buckets in the flower room, hook up some scrog nets and create a huge field of buds!

Yeah she ate like hell this week, a lot more than I planned but still had adequate nutes to feed her. She grew about an inch a day so figures she ate like hell. I moved the light up an inch so hopefully that calms it down too.

yeah man dut I'm thinkin of getting a better hood bc its old as fuck with built in ballast gonna try to find someone with a 400w-600w setup they wana swap gor a guitar or something. I have a small area do bloom prolly 4x4 or so. I would also like to get into hydro but was intimidated last time frim my first grow fail. even tho ik what I did wrong it still pushed me to soil I have a shit ton of coir I use for my reptiles I may consider ebb and flow with soilless had a buddy that grew half pound one plant one cab with 400w hps.

I switched to 12/12 a week earlier than I wanted to(switched at 3 week instead of usual 4) because i calculated wrong so i switched on 1/12/16 making it 17 days ago. Still no sign of flower at all, my last two grows i switched at 4 weeks and they showed signs of flower in like 5 days. Anxiously awaiting, it's a fem seed though so not worried it's a male atleast.

Hey dude, How long did the girls take to first show signs of flowers after you switched it to 12/12 cycle?

Took three weeks, went 12/12 on 1/12/16 and lil white elbow hairs finally showed on 2/1/16. It was unnerving since my last two grows only took like 5 days to show, but as i was reassured it's not unnusual to happen.
