1 seed 2 stems (pic)

my keybord is still broke so bare with me on the no caps or commas.

so im on my 1st and 2nd grow at the same time. got bag seeds in 1st week of flower that i did for practice for my hijack auto and purple pineberry. thanks to those that helped me so far in my other threads.

i just germed some seeds including the hijack auto all the same way. i put them in a glass of water then to paper towel and finally into seedling soil. waited 2 days for the germed seed to pop its head and its got 2 stems. yup 2 stems.

i asked about a bunch of buddies who grow and not one even heard of this. i was wondering if any of you pros have seen this and what i should do about it? thanks.

Evidently two seeds were planted next to each other. Look for the second shell, if you look carefully you might see it right there at the base of the seedling.

no sir. one seed only i promise you that. last night they were both under that seed shell and this morn they split off the shell and seperated. i only ordered 2 seeds and the purple pineberry popped this morn...in the other pot.

I read about This a couple days ago some seeds can be twins there are two embryos in one seed I read that you need to separate them as soon as possible and get on the rowing in their own pot

I read around here and actually also experienced that any anomalies, when it comes to seedlings, typically does not end well. You think you may have a winner it just sucks you have nothing to compare to.

Yeah I think in what I was reading they said they always usually turn out to be males if they come out twins

split them or grow them together is the question. i dont have the 1st clue what to do haha. that link was a great read.

how would i seperate them? wouldnt that damage the root system?

i have the same thing going on with one of my seeds, its a fem seed so I guess ill see what happens. I am just leaving them be.
